Keystone Property Finance have again teamed up with local based charity Spadework to create and deliver our hampers to our corporate partners as a thank you.
Spadework is a charity garden centre based in Offham which provides daycare services and meaningful work-based opportunities for adults with learning and other disabilities.
Spadework held a Christmas market on the 7th & 8th December where a marquee was erected in their gardens, this was then used afterwards by the trainees, volunteers and staff as a preparing and packing area for the hampers.
David Whittaker, CEO at Keystone Property Finance commenting on the partnership:
“We are delighted to be able to support this hands-on charity and it is great that we can give back to the local community. The hampers are filled with locally sourced products and a small Christmas decoration made by the trainees which makes them the perfect presents for our corporate partners.’’
Kris Healey, Spadework CEO said:
“Providing meaningful opportunities for our Trainees is at the heart of what we do. The project for Mortgages for Business and Keystone Property Finance is a perfect example of how we do this. Over three days, 32 of our trainees have been involved with the project, setting up the hampers, packing the items and helping to wrap the boxes and baskets. All of this has been done with passion and enthusiasm. We call it “the Spadework way!”
One of trainees said, “I have enjoyed packing boxes. I did it last year, so I know what to do.”
Another trainee said, “I love packing hampers and seeing them sent around the country for Christmas”
