The applicant is an existing landlord who was looking to purchase a holiday let to add to their portfolio via their SPV Limited Company. The property already had an EPC rating of a C which qualified them for our green product, offering reduced rates compared to our core product range.
With our wide range of criteria, we could accept the property despite it being next to the village pub. The landlord decided to take the mortgage out on a repayment basis increasing his equity in the property over the term of the loan.
The applicant met our lending criteria and provided all necessary documents at the time of application. This allowed the case to run smoothly and was offered 65% LTV on a 5-year fixed rate.
