As CEO, David drives the business forward on a daily basis. His passion and expertise is reflected through his active engagement and strong relationship with other industry leaders and lenders.
He is often called upon to give advice on lending criteria and help design new products. A colourful figure within the industry, David is renowned for telling it like it is. He is frequently asked for comment by both the national and trade press and is a regular speaker at industry events. David was voted Mortgage Personality of the Year at the Mortgage Strategy Awards 2017.
In January 2007 David launched Keystone Buy to Let Mortgages in a joint venture with the Wilky Group. Keystone loaned c£200m of mortgages before withdrawing from the market in December 2008. The Keystone lending brand was relaunched in 2012 with funding from Aldermore Bank and in 2015 by Paratus AMC.
It continues to go from strength to strength, and is now a specialist buy to let lender.
Elise is responsible for the day to day management of the Keystone office, this includes supervising and managing the functionality and overall growth of the business. Elise has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, having worked in the Portfolio Restructuring Unit at Commerzbank responsible for investing in and managing UK mortgage portfolios.
As Head of Sales, Phil is responsible for the business managers and sales strategy. He also manages his own client-base, looking after brokers throughout the South. His extensive experience of buy to let is invaluable when assessing whether deals are a good fit with the Keystone products and criteria. Phil spends much of his time visiting brokers, so if you haven't yet met him, why not give him a call to arrange a meeting.
Elyse manages the day to day finances for Keystone responsibilities include company accounts, taxation, management information etc. Elyse works closely with the Senior Management Team. Elyse spent 8 years in practice as an Auditor where she qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2013. Prior to joining Keystone Property Finance she worked in the Group Reporting Team and most recently the Tax Department at Towergate.
Moises supports brokers in the South East and London, helping them find solutions for their customers’ complex finance needs. With a wealth of experience from mainstream and specialist lenders, Moises will be able to assess cases quickly and efficiently to see if Keystone can help. Moises has worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 18 years.
Paul supports brokers in the South West, helping them find solutions for their customers’ complex finance needs. Paul has 38 years’ industry experience and has worked on both the lending and broking sides of the property finance business. During his career he has worked as a corporate lending manager for both Barclays and Lloyds before moving onto the specialist buy to let lenders, primarily Paragon Mortgages and latterly Fleet Mortgages. Many in the mortgage industry will no doubt also know Paul from his 13 years as managing director of TBMC.
Sara supports brokers in the North East, from the border with Scotland down as far as Nottingham. She has more than 30 years' experience within the financial services industry and is an expert in buy to let mortgages. Before joining Keystone, Sara worked as a business development manager at Skipton Building Society.
Gary supports brokers in the North West including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and down to Stoke-on-Trent. He has a background in specialist lending. Gary joined Keystone from Together Money. Before that he worked at Santander.
Ellie works alongside Phillip Spacey supporting brokers in Derby and Leicester. She is an office-based BDM who also answers the broker hotline, deals with new registrations and updates brokers on the progression of their cases. This is Ellie's first BDM role. Before joining Keystone she worked in a sales role at a local estate agents. She has a Level 2 City & Guilds qualification in residential sales.
Phillip Spacey works alongside Ellie Boys supporting brokers in Derby and Leicester. He is an office-based BDM who also answers the broker hotline, deals with new registrations and updates brokers on the progression of their cases. Phillip has worked in financial services for more than five years. Before joining Keystone he was a mortgage underwriter with Halifax and prior to that he worked at Kent Reliance servicing open mortgages.
Zoe is responsible for developing, implementing and executing the overall marketing strategy, she works closely with the Business Development Managers. Creating and organising both online and offline marketing activities, including events and awards.
Michelle joins the team from Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank having worked in banking her whole career. Michelle brings a wide range of credit, treasury, risk and compliance knowledge from working in both large and small banks in the city in various roles.
Michelle reports in to the Operations Manager, Elise Coole, and her responsibilities are ensuring that significant emerging financial, operational and reputational risks are identified at an early stage. Additionally she will work to build risk and control awareness across the whole business helping the senior management team embed robust risk management.
Mike works for both Keystone Property Finance and Mortgages for Business to ensure that all propositions are placed with the most appropriate lender.
Ashley has 6 years-experience in mortgages, with the last 3 years in an underwriting capacity within the specialist buy to let sector. He joined Keystone Property Finance in November 2016 and has been heavily involved in shaping the underwriting process. It is Ashley's responsibility to determine whether the risks involved in offering the mortgage to a borrower are acceptable or not.
Prior to joining Keystone, he worked for Kent Reliance where the majority of the cases were buy to let, although he has some experience of shared ownership and residential applications. Previously, he worked for Charles Cameron & Associates in the City, along with spells at Chelsea Building Society and RBS.
Anne joins us from Santander where she worked as a Mortgage Advisor and Mortgage Underwriter for over 30 years. Anne works alongside Mike Freeman and Ashley Boorman analysing the cases submitted to Keystone. It is her responsibility to determine whether the risks involved in offering the mortgage to a borrower are acceptable or not.
Kayleigh is responsible for overseeing the business systems and procedures for all Keystone applications along with heading up the Keystone case managers. She will ensure that your applications are processed by her team in a friendly and efficient manner.
Amy works five mornings a week, focussing solely on case management. She is responsible for processing applications and driving them through to completion in a timely and organised manner. With Amy's experience in case management, she is able to answer any questions brokers or their clients may have throughout the process.
Kelly is responsible for handling submitted cases, processing them through to completion. Kelly will ensure all cases are dealt with in a professional and efficient manner, answering any questions brokers or their clients may have along the way. Kelly is a very knowledgeable case manager with over 10 years experience working in the industry. Kelly spent five years working as a mortgage underwriter for the Halifax and just over five years working within a case management team at a local brokerage.
Morgan is responsible for handling submitted cases, and processing them through to completion. She ensures all cases are dealt with in a professional manner, answering questions from brokers and their clients. Prior to joining Keystone Morgan worked as a business administrator for a local printers.
Emily focuses on case management, responsible for processing applications through to completion. Responsibilities include ensuring all cases are dealt with in a professional manner, answering questions from brokers and their clients. After leaving school in July 2016, Emily worked in an administration role at her family run business.
Samantha focuses on case management, responsible for processing applications through to completion. Samantha will deal with all cases in a professional and efficient manner, answering any questions brokers or their clients may have along the way. Prior joining Keystone Property Finance, Samantha worked at Cabot Credit Management for just over seven years, where she undertook numerous roles across different departments.
Molly is part of the case management team that focus on processing applications through to completion. Responsibilities include ensuring all cases are dealt with in a professional manner, answering questions from brokers and their clients. Prior to joining Keystone, Molly worked within retail and hospitality in Australia. Returning to the UK, Molly approached us looking for a career in financial services.
